By accessing Arthritis Care Connect (hereinafter 'we', 'us', 'our', Arthritis Care Connect), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use Arthritis Care Connect. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of Arthritis Care Connect after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

Any communication or material that you transmit to or post on any public area of the site including any data, questions, comments, suggestions or the like, is and will be treated as non confidential and non-proprietary information.

The website and the content may only be used for your personal, non-commercial use. You may for this purpose alone:

If you are dissatisfied with any of the website material or with any of these terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the website.
Arthritis Care shall not be liable for any claims, losses, injuries, penalties, damages, costs or expenses arising from the use of, or inability to use the website or its content or from any action taken, or omitted to be taken, as a result of using the website or its content, other than death or personal injury resulting from the use of the website directly caused by the negligence of Arthritis Care.
You agree to indemnify and hold Arthritis Care and any of its officers, employees and agents harmless from and against all and any expenses, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses of any character incurred or suffered and any claims or legal proceedings which are brought or threatened, in each case arising from your use of, or conduct on, the website and/or a breach of any of these terms.
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and you irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms or your use of the website or arising in any way from the content.
Modification of these terms and conditions
Arthritis Care reserves the right to change the terms of its use. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms. Your continued use of the website constitutes your agreement to all such terms.
If registered on the website you will have agreed to our Registered User Terms and Conditions on posting information within the blogs and forum section. We reserve the right to revise and change them at any time.
Suspension of access
Arthritis Care does not warrant that this site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs. You should rely on your own anti-virus precautions.
Information storage and use
As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, Arthritis Care Connect shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
This policy explains in detail how Arthritis Care Connect along with its affiliated companies (hereinafter 'we', 'us', 'our', Arthritis Care Connect) use any information collected during any session of usage by you (hereinafter 'your information').
Your information is collected via two ways. Firstly, by browsing Arthritis Care Connect will cause the software to create a number of cookies, which are small text files that are downloaded on to your computer’s web browser temporary files.
We may also create cookies external to the software whilst browsing Arthritis Care Connect, though these are outside the scope of this document which is intended to only cover the pages created by the software. The second way in which we collect your information is by what you submit to us. This can be, and is not limited to: posting as an anonymous user (hereinafter 'anonymous posts'), registering on Arthritis Care Connect (hereinafter 'your account') and posts submitted by you after registration and whilst logged in (hereinafter 'your posts').
Your account will at a bare minimum contain a uniquely identifiable name (hereinafter 'your user name'), a personal password used for logging into your account (hereinafter 'your password') and a personal, valid e-mail address (hereinafter 'your e-mail'). Your information for your account at Arthritis Care Connect is protected by data-protection laws applicable to the UK. Any information beyond your user name, your password, and your e-mail address required by Arthritis Care Connect during the registration process is either mandatory or optional, at the discretion of Arthritis Care Connect. In all cases, you have the option of what information in your account is publicly displayed. Furthermore, within your account, you have the option to opt-in or opt-out of automatically generated e-mails from Arthritis Care.
Your password is ciphered so that it is secure. However, it is recommended that you do not reuse the same password across a number of different websites. Your password is the means of accessing your account at Arthritis Care Connect, so please guard it carefully and under no circumstance will anyone affiliated with Arthritis Care Connect or another 3rd party, legitimately ask you for your password. Should you forget your password for your account, you can use the 'I forgot my password' feature provided by the software. This process will ask you to submit your user name and your e-mail, then the software will generate a new password to reclaim your account.
These terms incorporate by reference all other policies, disclaimers and terms contained anywhere on the website; provided, however, that in the event of a conflict between such other terms and these terms, these terms shall prevail
If these terms are not accepted in full, the use of this site must be terminated immediately.
